10th ANNIVERSARY DBA Family Conference
Over 45 families attended the annual DBA-UK conference and AGM at Caythorpe Court, Lincolnshire. With fantastic weather the older children enjoyed the PGL activities (climbing, high-wires, quad-bikes, archery and so on) while a creche took care of the younger ones, allowing the families the opportunity to listen to a variety of speakers and to share experiences with each other.

Panel sessions were held on Benefits, Needles / Pumps / Chelators and PGD/PTT (Preimplantation Genetic diagnosis / Preimplantation Tissue Typing). The medical professionals also ran 1 to 1 sessions and there was even an exercise class after the close on Saturday.
Families enjoyed a bar-b-q on the Saturday evening and as it was the 10th Anniversary Conference there was even a cake.
Sunday saw a futher presentation from Dr De La Fuente on Research and the Future followed by the Charity'a AGM, draft minutes are available here.
A talk on fundraising was then followed by an open forum for members.
