Do you want to take part in the 2008 Great North Run, and at the same time raise much needed funds for the group. This year DBA-UK have 25 places available for runners, the only thing we ask is that you get yourself sponsored and donate all monies raised to DBA-UK.

DBA-UK managed to win 1 place in last years London Marathon. We are hoping to repeat this again and are always seeking runners who would be interested in running on behalf of the charity. (see GNR2008 above)
With a change in our accounting year 2007 was only a part year. Even so we broke recent records and managed to raise just under £35,000. Thank you to all our supporters who helped her with such things as sponsored bike rides, sponsored runs (GNR and London Marathon), Santa letters and of course all those who donated on-line or through the Charities Aid Foundation
We are delighted to announce that during 2006-7 over £16,000 was raised. Congratulations must go to our fund raising coordinator June, along with the army of supporters who helped her with such things as her annual sponsored bike ride, Santa letters and of course all those who took part in the Great North Run.
